Visa Application Requirements for US citizens
Egyptian Business Visa Requirements:
Email Requirements
A valid passport and visa are required for business travel to Egypt.
1Passport Requirements:

Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Egypt, with at least one blank visa page available for the Egyptian visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Egyptian visas.

2 Egyptian Visa Application Form:

One Egypt visa application form per applicant properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on each Egyptian visa application. Improperly completed Egypt visa application forms may delay the processing of your visa.
3Photo Requirements:

Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs in color, front view and with a plain/white background.
4Other Forms:

For applications sent to Chicago only: Completed, signed, notarized Letter of Authorization. By signing this letter, the applicant authorizes Travisa to submit and retrieve the applicant's documents from the Egyptian Consulate.
5 Business Letter:

Letter from employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Egypt. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Egypt.

To generate an Egyptian Business Cover Letter on-line, fill out this Business Letter Form and print the completed letter on your company letterhead.
6Proof Of Departure:

Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets (not required in Washington DC and New York).
7 Global Reservation Form:

This is Travisa's service order form, where you will select the visa processing needed and make your payment. You must print the completed form and send it to Travisa with all other supporting documents.

Egypt Visa Validity:

Egyptian business visas are generally issued for single or multiple entries to Egypt within 3 months. Egyptian visas generally allow a stay of up to 30 days per entry, at the discretion of the Egyptian visa officer.
Egyptian Visa Processing Time:

Egypt visas are usually processed in 10 business days in Washington DC. In other jurisdictions, Egypt visas are usually processed in 5 to 7 business days. Rush and Emergency visa service may be available for additional fees in some locations. Please visit our Egypt Consular Fees and Visa Processing Options page for details. Rush and Emergency service is defined as any attempt made by Travisa to retrieve the visa in less time than the amount required by the embassy to process the visa.
In order to ensure that visa applications for most embassies/consulates are submitted on the day that we receive them, they should be shipped to us via FedEx Priority Overnight (not First Overnight or Standard Overnight).
Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
